Manoj Mehta also known as ‘Manuj’ Hyustonavi
-Sathodara Nagar -Brahmin (Gruhasth) by birth
-Originally from Dabhoi, Gujarat state, India
-Spent childhood and some adulthood in Vadodara, Gujarat State
-Graduated from School of Physical Therapy at M.S. University in Vadodara
-Family: Kalpana Mehta (Spouse) Vitasta (Mehta) Somaiya, Anirudhha Somaiya, and Mitalee Mehta.
Some of my hobbies include reading/writing poetry, fictions, laghukathas, navalika, and dramas, listening to classical & devotional music, ghazals as well as singing. I also enjoy playing the tabla & dholak, performing dramas/plays through Houston Natya Kalaa Vrund since 1988. I am a Licensed and Consulting Physical Therapist in the state of Texas and am also the Physical Therapy Students’ Clinical Education Coordinator at Memorial Hermann Hospital Northwest. I published my first book, ‘Manokalp’, in September 2002 which is comprised of gujarati ghazals/najams/kavya kruties. I currently reside in Houston, Texas.
